"Het Moment Dat Ik De Deur Naar Deze Dag Opendeed" or "The Moment I Opened The Door To This Day" is the follow-up, autonomous, single release of Krijs. It serves as an independent prelude to the upcoming album                                                          "Het Is Hier, Het Is Nu" (It Is Here, It Is Now). It consists of 11 chapters corresponding to the 11 songs of the album. The first paragraph of each song make up the lyrics on this single. Consider it to be a roadmap to the album, guiding you through the mase of spheres and dimensions.

"Het Moment Dat Ik De Deur Naar Deze Dag Opendeed" is a journey through the metaphysical cycle of life and death, birth and rebirth. It describes ancient wisdom on how to create ones own multiverse and to detach oneself from the true hell we create for our selves. It gives a glimpse of the twisted ways we have grown customed to. For instance the way we value our intuition, or the way we address our darkest thoughts and emotions and the complete disregard for the enormous creational strength they hold.

I decided to release this single separately because (first of all) of the length of the song, but also the fact that I used a different tuning than the previous recording. I returned to the HaaH days were I used a B-standard tuning on a seven string RG Ibanez. This tuning resonates better to my current emotions. The Ibanez was the preferred guitar of NAB, so it has the right energy and makes me feel connected to my brother.
