Resonating to the microwave philosophy of consuming reality, Krijs is now releasing a series of sonic feedback carrying my feelings towards this trend, named “Het Kortste Eind” freely translated as “The Shortest Straw”. Baring this sigil, the first group of entities will rise under the banner “6 Stappen Naar Innerlijke Vrede” or “6 Steps Towards Inner Peace”. As you might expect this collection will consist of 6 (...) under-a-minute songs, only to be released as Youtube Short and Facebook Reel. The songs have been given the following titels:

2. Het Is Ik (It Is I)
3. Vanuit Niets (Out Of Nothing)
4. Wat Was Is (What Was Is)
5. Overtuiging (Persuasion)
6. WaarHeid Waar (Is There Truth)

This theme, inner peace, is a paradox to me, whereas one can only find inner peace when one understands that there is no peace. There is only war, there is only suffering, only pain. It is how you deal with this that determines if you are able to feel some form of inner peace at all. It is at that point you realise that you are the eye of any storm. That you transcend the ways of man. Until then, you will draw the shortest straw.
